Women who have previously undergone a caesarean section may develop a condition called a caesarean scar defect, also known as a uterine scar defect or niche (C-section). The scar from the C-section incision develops a depression or cavity, which can lead to irregular bleeding, discomfort, and other gynaecological issues.
This is my article published in Health Today regarding caesarean scar defect.
